Count Dracula is back and so is Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler has signed on to voice Count Dracula in Hotel Transylvania.

The forthcoming animated comedy from Sony Animation the creators of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will have the Water Boy star who now has a first for blood voicing Dracula.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Adam to create a comedic Dracula for a new generation,” said Sony Pictures Animation’s president of production Michelle Raimo-Kouyate.

“We have a unique story about that iconic character… that re-imagines Transylvania and its legendary monsters in the way that only animation can.”

Plot Summary

[CONTENT SOURCE: COMING SOON]

Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s (Sandler) lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free from meddling from the human world. But here’s a little known fact about Dracula: he is not only the Prince of Darkness; he is also a dad. Over-protective of his teenage daughter, Mavis, Dracula fabricates tales of elaborate dangers to dissuade her adventurous spirit. As a haven for Mavis, he opens the Hotel Transylvania, where his daughter and some of the world’s most famous monsters – Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more – can kick back in safety and peace. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem – but his world could come crashing down when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.

Can we Count of Adam to do a good job or shall I stop with the bloody puns?

Smurf Village on the iphone. Smurf Movie in 3D. It’s a Smurf-Tastrophe!

Every one is on the Smurf Berries

Smurfs are back from the past and looking to Smurfover.

Illustrated by Penny Arcade’s Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins.

Out of the Blue

Smurfs were something of the past. I remember being a couple feet tall watching them scream help for Papa Smurfs when things went wrong. The memories of the theme song being stuck in my head for the whole day from only hearing a couple of the notes still linger today and why?

Not because I heard La La La La La but because the Smurfs have gone from the TV screen to movie theaters to iphones galore.

With the addiction of Smurfs looming it makes you wonder what other shows can make such a come back, not to mention Smurf Berries are not that bad when used wisely.

Smurf Village on the iphone

Help the Smurf build a village to call home. Available from

Made by Capcom Mobile

Players begin the game under the guidance of Papa Smurf, with only a single mushroom house and a lone plowed plot of land. From there, things quickly progress, allowing players to build specialized houses, elaborate gardens with colorful crops, bridges to span running rivers, trodden paths, and more.

It seems to me to look like glorified, sorry Smurf-fified FarmVille on Facebook. If they were to ever put this on facebook who know what kind of addiction would be released upon the world. Smurf Village has already dethroned the soon to be angrier Angry Birds as the top grossing game on the iphone but is that all that they will topple over.

Smurfs Movie

Sony Pictures presents to the world The Smurfs in 3D.

Synopsis

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Classic Cartoons Re-built

I’m skeptical because well I’ve seen this many a time, where they’ve taken a classic cartoon turned it into a 3D movie to cash in and not done it enough justice. You remember The Hulk right? Wrong choice of words there because they got it wrong but credit to them for redoing it. The Smurfs I doubt will have a second chance and I hope they wont need to, honestly.

The world may heading into a Smurf-Tastrophe

From iphones to theatres the world is loving The Smurfs. It was and still is a classic cartoon but I guessing it won’t be the last we hear of  The Smurfs and what they have to offer.

If we just take a moment and think if The Smurfs were to blow up in popularity, then causing people to re-use every Smurf pun they know. Having a ripple effect which will then change the whole english language, Smurf now becomes a verb, adjective even some ones middle name I won’t be able to take it! Or maybe not.

Having success already at with apple corporation does justify the hope for big things but we must remember Smurfberries are a hell of a drug.

Smurfs Admits To Being On A Drug “Called Charlie Sheen- Smurfberries”

SmurfBerries are a hell of a drug

Charlie Sheen has been the main focus recently because of his drug and escort addiction but the ones we really need to look out for are the Smurfs. They too have succumb drugs. We all know what drugs can do to you.

Two and a Half Men has been cancelled because of the Charlie Sheens antics and with the release of Sony’s animated comedy feature Smurf 3D coming soon it’s no time for the likes of Papa Smurf to be puffing on the dragon.
