“60 Minutes” is airing a segment about “South Park”

South Park started from a  foul mouthed Christmas Special in1997 to one of the funniest cartoons to date 15 seasons and 216 episodes later.

The men behind the show Trey Parker and Matt Stone have recently been poked and probed about their Broadway show The Book of Mormon but South Park is not to be forgotten with it’s season premiere lurking around the corner.

“60 Minutes” will be airing a feature and give a  behind-the-scenes look at how a “South Park” episode is created. Enjoy the promo below showing you the six-day writing, animating and recording process that the duo have used to create the funny episodes weekly with such speed.

South Park Episode – 1505 “Crack Baby Athletic Association”

Season 15 Continues with Crack Baby Athletics

South Park are here again with Crack Baby Basketball

There’s always something that plagues my mind when Cartman comes out with his ideas- does he ever actually hear himself speak. It seems like Kyle is the only sane one around and you know what? That makes it hilarious to watch. From Christian Rock to Casa Bonita and now crack babies playing basketball. Trey Parker and Matt Stone must be on something when they write the scripts. What ever it is, I want some too.

Episode Synopsis

Cartman has a new protege. He’s found someone who is smart, ambitious and willing to look the other way in order to get to the top. Kyle is brought in on the ground floor of Cartman’s latest business venture, the Crack Baby Athletic Association.
