Flintstones 50th Stone Age Anniversary

Family Guy and The Simpsons must give praise to their Prehistoric Ancestors

Ed: Wow 50 years since the Flintstones came on the TV screens. Creative partners Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera brought to us the first Prime-time Animated Comedy. They laid down the solid Bedrock for shows such as Family Guy and The Simpsons and now they celebrate a whopping-

Larry: Wait wait wait. Did you just say they laid down the ‘Bedrock’?

Ed: Yeah why?

Larry: And you call me cheesy.

Ed: Just because no one like your jokes.

Larry: Not everyone is meant to like what I do.

Ed: That brings me to my next point in fact. Did you know Hanna and Barbera weren’t like by all as well  they suited their animation style to budget of 60’s television by working with ‘limited animation’. Reducing movement and increasing character dialogue they would cut the number of cells needed to produce the animation. In doing so they were able to create characters galore including Scooby Doo, George Jetson and Yogi Bear to name a few. Happy anniversary Fred.

Larry: Wonder what it would be like to meet Fred now. Havn’t seen much of him.

Ed: Well you can say. After generations Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin are the new Fred Flintstones.

Larry: That’s Yabbadabba True.

Ed: …and I’m cheesy. Don’t say a word you going to ruin the vid below shows how Flintstones came to be. Enjoy.

Macfarlane and his new Projects.

He has had success with the Animated Comedies. What comes next.

Larry: Found an article about Seth Macfarlane and his views on how American Dad’s success has been compared to Family Guy and what projects he is going to delve into next.

Read Article here.

Ed: Nice. Seth’s cool but he isn’t a Trey Parker or a Matt Stone

Ed: You think Disney would like that?

Larry: Who Nose !

Ed: That is just… I’m not going to comment on that joke.

Tvigle Super Mario versus Pacman

Ed: This tickled my drawn funny bone and I thought I would share it with you. Imagine your favourite anything versus your favourite everything. I present to you the Versus Series. Here’s just one of many entitled Super Mario versus Pacman.

Larry: Yep, this is what I call a giggler. Made for Tvigle check here for the whole animated Series.
